Yesterday Google announced that Google Suggest will be graduateing Google Suggest to Google’s homepage. Over the next week everyone should see a drop down box of suggestions when you start typing in the search box. Google Suggest helps your search needs in several ways:

Helps formulate search queries
Reduce spelling errors
Saves keystrokes
Not only will it help with search need it also help with keywords when choosing keywords to use in METADATA for websites since it shows how many search results there have been.
The Google Suggest feature originally started as a 20% project in 2004, and has since expanded to Google Labs, Toolbar, Firefox search box, Maps and Web Search for select countries, the iPhone and BlackBerry, YouTube, and now Google.com.
